The Great Lakes Yacht Club 2026 Fall Series offers five days of fall racing on Lake St. Clair, with a mix of point-to-point and windward/leeward competition. Competitors may enter the entire Fall Series or register individually for the Commodore Ed Theisen Trophy Race (PTP), Great North Fall Race (W/L w/NSSC), and/or Last Hurrah Race (PTP). 2026 Schedule Sunday, September 27 – Commodore Ed Theisen Trophy Race An approximately 12 NM point-to-point race. Sunday, October 4 – Great North Fall Race Multiple windward/leeward races, combining classes with boats from the North Star Sail Club Fall Series. Sunday, October 11 – GLYC Fall Series Racing Multiple windward/leeward races, exclusive to the GLYC Fall Series. Sunday, October 18 – GLYC Fall Series Racing Multiple windward/leeward races, exclusive to the GLYC Fall Series. Saturday, October 24 – Last Hurrah Race An approximately 12 NM point-to-point race, open to any boat still in the water that wants to race. Followed by the GLYC End of Season Party and awards presentation.
