About This Event
The Great Lakes Yacht Club 2026 Fall Series offers five days of fall racing on Lake St. Clair, with a mix of point-to-point and windward/leeward competition. Competitors may enter the entire Fall Series or register individually for the Commodore Ed Theisen Trophy Race (PTP) and/or the Last Hurrah Race (PTP).
2026 Schedule
Sunday, September 27 – Commodore Ed Theisen Trophy Race
An approximately 12 NM point-to-point race.
Sunday, October 4 – Multiple windward/leeward races
Sunday, October 11 – Multiple windward/leeward races
Sunday, October 18 – Multiple windward/leeward races
Saturday, October 24 – Last Hurrah Race
An approximately 12 NM point-to-point race, open to any boat still in the water that wants to race.
Followed by the GLYC End of Season Party and awards presentation.

Full five-race series: $80
Individual race: $20 each for the Com. Ed Theisen Race, or Last Hurrah Race
