One Profile for Every Way You Sail
GYBEHUB gives sailors one profile that can be used to register boats, post crew openings, apply to crew on other boats, manage crew, submit race-by-race crew availability, follow race notifications, and access race committee tools when assigned by a club or organization. Whether you own a boat, crew for someone else, score races, or do all three, everything can be managed from one profile.
How It Works
1. Create Your Sailor Profile
Create one free profile that represents you as a sailor. Add your contact information, manage your boats, connect with crews, apply for crew openings, subscribe to race notifications, and use the same profile for racing, crewing, and race committee access.
2. Add Boats, Post Crew Openings, and Build Your Crew List
Boat owners can enter boat information once, post crewing opportunities for specific events, list available positions, describe the crew help they need, and manage their regular crew list from one place.
3. Coordinate, Crew, or Score Events
Skippers can set boat call times and notes for each race, while crew can respond with their intent to sail from their own dashboard. Sailors can also apply to crew on other boats, follow results, subscribe to event updates, or access scoring tools when a club assigns race committee permissions.
Designed for Sailors, Crew, Skippers, and Race Committees
A GYBEHUB sailor profile is more than a login. It connects the people, boats, races, crew opportunities, crew plans, results, and permissions that make up the racing experience.
Sailor Profiles
One profile for every role you play on the water
Your GYBEHUB profile can support the different ways you participate in sailing. Use it as a boat owner registering for events, as crew responding to race availability, as a sailor applying to crew on other boats, or as a race committee member helping manage races for a club or organization.
Key features:
- Use one account across boats, events, and organizations
- Manage your sailor information in one place
- Participate as skipper, crew, race committee, or all three
- Keep your sailing activity connected to one profile
Boat Profiles and Registration
Register faster with reusable boat profiles
Boat owners can create boat profiles once and reuse them across events, series, and organizations. Instead of repeatedly entering the same sail number, skipper information, ratings, and boat details, sailors can select a saved boat and move through registration more quickly.
Key features:
- Save boat name, sail number, make, model, and year
- Store ratings and skipper information
- Reuse boat details across future registrations
- Manage multiple boats from one sailor profile
Crew Opportunities
Post crew openings or apply to crew on another boat
Sailors who own boats can post crewing opportunities for specific events and series. Skippers can list which crew positions are available, explain what kind of help they are looking for, and provide additional details about the requested crew. Sailors looking to get on the water can use their profile to apply for open crew positions on other boats.
Key features:
- Post crew openings for boats you own
- Choose which events or series need crew
- List available positions such as bow, trim, pit, rail, or tactician
- Add notes about the experience or help you are looking for
- Apply to crew on other boats using your sailor profile
Crew Management
Know who is sailing before everyone gets to the dock
The My Crews system helps skippers organize their crew list and coordinate availability across a series or event. Instead of chasing text messages, spreadsheets, or dockside maybes, skippers can see who is planning to sail for each race and share important race-day details in one place.
Key features:
- Maintain a regular crew list for each boat
- See who is available, unavailable, or undecided
- Set boat call times for specific races
- Add skipper notes for race-day planning
- Coordinate crew intent across a full series or event
Crew Intent
Let skippers know who is available for each race
Crew members can respond from their own dashboard with their intent for each race. This gives skippers a clearer picture of who is coming, who is unavailable, and who has not decided yet before race day arrives.
Key features:
- Submit availability for individual races
- Respond yes, no, or maybe from a sailor dashboard
- Help skippers identify crew gaps earlier
- Keep race-by-race crew planning organized
My Races Dashboard
Keep your racing schedule and event access organized
The My Races dashboard helps sailors see the races and events connected to them. This can include boats they own, events they are registered for, races where they are listed as crew, events they follow, and races where they have race committee access.
Key features:
- View races connected to boats you own
- Track events where you are listed as crew
- Access race updates and event information
- Keep racing activity organized in one place
Race Committee Access
Help score and manage races without a separate account
Clubs and organizations can assign race committee permissions to sailor profiles. This allows trusted volunteers or committee members to access race management and scoring tools without needing a separate login or disconnected admin account.
Key features:
- Receive race committee access from a club or organization
- Help manage scoring and race results
- Support more than one organization from the same profile
- Keep volunteer access tied to real sailor profiles
Results and Standings
Follow results as soon as they are posted
Sailors can view race results, corrected times, finishing positions, scoring statuses, points, and series standings from public event pages. Results are easier to follow because they are connected directly to the event instead of being buried in separate files or scattered website updates.
Key features:
- View race results from any device
- Follow corrected times, points, and scoring statuses
- See series standings update as races are scored
- Access centralized public event pages
Create Your Sailor Profile
Profiles are free for sailors and can be reused across events, organizations, boats, crew openings, crew lists, crew intent, race notifications, and race committee assignments. One profile can support every way you participate in the sport.
